Hear My Secret

I had been in love with this place.I have gone with so many places, districts, and cities here in Cebu but this place truly touched my desire and made a full score of my satisfaction. It is a 3rd class city in the province of Cebu,Philippines. And now according  to the 2007 census,it has a population of 179,859 people,i don't know this year.I am so curious that made me motivates to go under deep research and explore after then which is one of my hobbies. This city is known for its ''INASAL BABOY''(roasted pig). The name is taken from the mantalisay tree which is abundant in the city.No Filipino weddings, baptism, fiesta, and even birthday will ever be complete without this delicacy. When it comes from Cebu,it is bound to be yummy. However Cebuanos know that when it comes to lechon, the ones from this majestic city are the best with golden brown and crackling skin and with tender juicy and delicious meat. This is why every October 15 of each year the feast of this place saint Theresa of Avila was being honored and celebrate.People from all walks of life flock to the city to dance, offer and join merriment as one grateful community.
It is primarily a residential and trading center and part of a metropolitan area known as metro Cebu.
Talisay city, yes definately it is! A place where you can find the best out of life, and a healthy living its the place i love, and a place where i belong,my friend,my pride, and a home for eveybody. If you wish to go elsewhere and wants to find a magnificent place that will surely gives you true company and enjoyable moments Talisay city is a place to be.Witness the clear, crystal blue water of Aqua Cainta,Villa Teresita and Sealights resorts.Have a glimpse of refreshing mood in mountain view park.Go over and explore the Iguana Cave.
Lets feel to fly high like a beautiful butterfly its all for you in Talisay city butterfly park. But before all of that lets ask a guidance first to oue dear almighty father lets visit Sta.Therese De Avila Church one of the oldest churches in Cebu.
Much of the commerce in Talisay city takes place in theTabunok area where several public markets, strip malls and commercial establishments are situated. The biggest mall is Gaisano Tabunok which has a grocery, several floors displaying clothing and household items and a couple of theater. However, much of the population still depend on the so called''public market'' where they can find fresh meat, fish and vegetables as well as other household needs. There are also many sari2x stores, one of those is the Gloria's minimart its great for all the locals who need hardware and house needs.Talisay city and Tabunok area also serves as the commercial area for municipalities south of  the city, being the south''get away'' to Cebu city, considered to be the second largest city outside Metro Manila.Talisay city, its citizenz and its sorroundings barangays have lately benefitted immensely from the construction of the south road properties projects.Which is 6-lane coastal highway from downtown Cebu city to the town of Minglanilla. But with several exits in between many of which are exits to several areas of Talisay city.Because of this highway, traffic, which has always been a problem for inhabitants in the past few year for this area has been greatly reduced.Making the city a popular zone for housing once more as it was in the early 70's and 80's.But it does not end with that because Talisay city has its own vision and that is to become:
-An environmentally friendly city that provides quality of life to the talisaynons.
-A city by the sea which encourages and promote the balance of employment, business opportunities and human development
-An alternative commercials and industrial center to the highly organized cities of Cebu and Mandaue.
-A tourism destination that promotes sustainable development of the waterfront area and appropriate eco-tourism activities to the upland areas.
-A settlement haven that offers better living environment to its residents.
-A city that promotes sustainable utilization of its natural resources.

holiday

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.  ~Charles Dickens

holiday!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
